However when making a service available on the Internet we will usually give it a static internal IP address. The Internal IP address is assigned to the internal server by the NAT router and via the DHCP service. Overall Review: I contacted customer support for help when setting up this camera system and one person (Robin) asked me for my IP address so I gave it to them, they told me that was the "local IP address" and ended the chat saying the problem is too difficult to help with over their chat program.
